Privacy policy

Integrity Industries North Inc. provides NorthStar Production Maps. Contact admin@summitgeoinc.com for privacy questions. This policy covers NorthStar Production Maps and its associated online services, not the separate MARA or FieldOps products.

Information we use

• Account and access: your email address, account identifier, profile name where provided, company/access relationship, approval requests and decisions, and authentication/security records.
• Location and field information: precise location is used to show your position and, when you start recording, save a track even while the app is closed or the screen is locked. Ordinary map tracks and waypoints are stored on your device. Connected field equipment and company feeds can also process location reports, device identifiers, timestamps and geophone status for authorised company users.
• Maps and saved work: imported PDFs, waypoints, measurements and ordinary recorded tracks stay on the device unless you choose to export/share them. Downloads and connected feeds use the relevant map coverage and access information.
• Notifications: when enabled, device push tokens, app/platform identifiers and delivery status are used for access requests and approvals. Notification services receive the content needed to deliver the alert.
• Feedback: messages, optional voice recordings, account identity and app/device version information you choose to send are delivered to support. Microphone access is used only for a voice memo you start.
• Service operation: hosting and backend providers may process network identifiers, request logs and security/error information to deliver and protect the service. Deletion-request records are used to verify and fulfil privacy requests.

Why and with whom

We use this information to provide maps and field features, manage company access, deliver requested notifications, respond to support, fulfil privacy requests and protect the service. Authorised company users may see shared field/device information within their permitted scope. We do not sell personal information or use the app for advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.

Service providers include Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Expo, Apple and Google for push delivery; Microsoft and Resend for operational email; and Google Firebase for these web pages. Providers process the information necessary for their service, which may involve processing outside your country. Content you export through another app is subject to that app's handling.

Your controls

You can use saved maps offline, control layers, stop track recording, manage location/microphone/notification permissions in device settings, and choose whether to send feedback or share files. Denying a permission affects its corresponding feature. Online feeds and first-time account verification need connectivity.

Retention and deletion

Local work stays on the device until you remove it or remove the app and its stored data. Online account and field records are retained as needed for service operation and your company's permitted use. We review deletion requests within 30 days, remove or anonymise associated personal data, and explain any records that must be retained for a legal obligation or to protect others' records, including their purpose and retention period. Provider backups and previously exported copies may have separate lifecycles.

Use Privacy & account → Delete my NorthStar account in the app, or request deletion here. You do not need an active company membership. A separate MARA account is preserved. Offline copies on other devices cannot be remotely erased; remove the app's local data on those devices.

Security and audience

Network requests use encrypted HTTPS. Company access controls limit online data access. No service can promise absolute security. NorthStar is a professional field tool intended for adults, not a children's service.
